Euro Euviro Quiz

Karanveer and Shyam of Class IX of our school defeated 9 of the top schools of Chandigarh to win the Euro Euviro Quiz conducted by Eureka Forbes on 28 Jan. 2005. Both boys had the privilege of going to Mumbai to participate in the All India Quiz. Ms. Malina Singh accompanied. The whole trip was paid for by Eureka Forbes.

Dipen Basak (XI-A) won 1st prize in National Level Rifle shooting held at Shimla in the Month of Jan.05.He won Asian Cup (1st) of Asian level in Rifle Shooting held in Shimla in January, 05. He won Best Individual Shooter Award (2004-05) in Sharp Shooting held in Shimla in Jan.2005. He was also declared “Youngest Trainer” of Northern India (National Level) in Rifle, Pistol Shooting.

Lubna Soni (VIII-B) participated in Badminton School Nationals held at Bombay from 26 th Dec.2004 to 2 Jan.2005

Harneet Brar (Vlll-B), Reetinder Brar (IX-D), Sukhmaneet (VH-A)- (Girls) & Prabhjeet (VIII-B)- (Boy). They are at present representing U.T.Chandigarh at Chattisgarh at the School National Basketball Games.

Girish Sud (VI-A) participated in XVIIIth National Children's Chess Championship-04 during the period 23rd to 31th Dec. 04 under-9 (Boys.)

Ashu Dhir(X-B) won 3rd position in Chess Tournament Under-13 organized by Chandigarh Chess Association on 3rd and 4th Dec.2004 at St. Xavier's Sector44,Chandigarh

Rajvir Kaur (IX-D) got 3rd position in 200 meter Race held on 25.1.2005, got 1st position in Relay held on 25.1.2005,2nd in Proficiency held on 12.12.2004, 2nd in Long Jump held on 25.1.2005, organised by Mount Carmel School. Mehtiana (HSP).

P.Ananya Chakraborty (IV-C): 1st prize in Racing organized by R.B.I.Welfare Society.Chandigarh on 14.4.2005.

Sahibjeet Singh (IX-E) won Trophy & Certificate of Man of the Match in the Cricket held on 15.4.2005 U-17 and U-19 in the Y.P.S.Ground.

Amrit Pal Singh (V-A): played Cricket with Australians on 28.4.2005 at Punjab Cricket Association ground & was presented a T-Shirt as a Momento.

Jaideep Singh (VIII-A) won 3rd position in Cricket Tournament held at Greenfield School on 19.12.2004.

Sirjana Dhaliwal (ll-B) 1st position in Road Race and 2nd position in Ring Race in the Skating Competition held on 30.4.2005 in Skating Ring, Sect.10.Chandigarh.

Udit Narula (VIII C) won Gold Medal in Tae-Kwon-do organized by Chandigarh Tae-Kwon-do group

Hardeep Singh (VHI-E) got 1st position in Classical Tabia and 2nd position in Kirtan organized by Guru Nanak Dev Singh Sabha. Also got 1st position in Group A Bhangra organized by Alpha T.V. Punjabi. Namya Saraf(VII-E) won First prize in Dancing and Singing competition held in Kashmir! Bhawan, Sector 24, Chandigarh on 14.4.2005.

Khushboo Khanna (X-C) won 1st position in Antakshari competition held in Sector 17 organised by Samsung Team and won 2nd position in Rangoli competition held at Mount Carmel School.

DaminiSajwan (X-C) won 3rd prize in Painting competition organized by Mount Carmel,Sector47 on 13.1.2005

Amanajot Kaur (IX-E) got 1st position in Martial Arts organized by the Mount Carmel School on 15.1.2005.

DhruvWalia (VIII-C) won 1st position and the 1st prize in Salad making contest organized by the Mount Carmel School.

LakshayDhamiJa (VIII-C) won 3rd prize in Dry Flower Competition organized by the Mount Carmel School.

Aanchal (VI-C) got 3rd position in Drawing Competition organized by Mount Carmel

SandeepMondal (VIII-E) won 1st Prize in Drawing competition organized by Mount Carmel Carnival.

Gunjan Sharma (IV-C): 1st prize in Calligraphy Contest organized by Mount Carmel School in the month of September, 2004.

Trichi Chauhan (lX-A) won 2nd prize in Dancing competition organized by Kala Kendra in January.

Rupali Prabhakar (IX A) won 2nd prize in Art competition organized by Pepsi.

Abigail David (IX-B) won 3rd prize in Poster Making Competition organized by City Montessori Inter College.Lucknow.

Rohit Batish (IX-C) won consolation prize on the topic Harness Water resources for the better future organized by Deptt. Of Science &Technology, Chandigarh Administration on 5 Dec. 2004.

Nukul Garg I (VIII-A) won 3rd position in G.K.Quiz Contest organized by Biria White on 30.3.2005.

Harmeen Kaur(VIII-C) won 1st prize in Dance competition organized by the Society.

AvikWadhwa (VIII-C) won 1st position with certificate in Verka Quiz Contest.

Satnam Singh (VIII-E) got 1st position in Bhangra organized by ETC, Punjabi. Also won 2nd 'prize in Bhangra (U-12) organized by D.A.V. Model School.

Keya ( VI-C) got 2nd position in Dance competition organized by Narayana Vidyalam held on 11th December.
She got 3rd position in Hindi Writing organized by Narayana Vidyalam on 31st July
She got 2nd position in Poem competition organized by Naryana Vidyalam on 16th Sept.
She got 1st position in Group Dance organized by NaryanaVidyalamon 3 "October.
She also got 1st position in Encouragement organized by Narayana Vidyalam in March and 1st position in Rakhi Making organized by Narayana Vidyalam on 28th August
