National Games

It is a matter of great pride that our students are excelling in Basketball in the under 14 category. 2 girls Riya & Diksha and 2 boys Kartik &Vishwadeep have already gone to Nawashahar to represent our city in the National Games. In the under 17 category, 2 girls, Reetinder & Harneet and 2 boys.Girish and Lovepreet have been selected to represent Chandigarh in the National Games to be held at Lucknow from the 19 May,2007

EMILY MEMORIAL BASKETBALL

Piyush Kaushik (8-A) was given Best Player Award in the Emily Memorial Basketball Tournament of State level. Also competeted in West Bengal Basket ball Tournament of National level

Wamiqua Gabbi (9-D) participated in a National Dance competition' Innova Nacho Gao Zoomo and was declared one of the first five contestants from Chandigarh.

Wamiqua Gabbi (9-D) played a role of younger sister of Kareena Kapoor in the forthcoming picture TRAIN'of lmitaz Ali.

QUIZ

Varun Girdhar (7-B) won 347* Rank in All India National Cyber Olympiad held on 30" January 2007 organized by Science Olympiad Foundation.
Amitesh Chugh (8-A) won 1st position in I Matrix Level I competition organized by I Matrix Worldwide Brain Development Programme

Sarthak Tyagi (8-E) won Gold medal & a certificate with 1st position in School Rank, 1024 in All India Rank& 13th Rank in the State in Science competition organized by Science Olympiad Foundation.Delhi.

SWIMMING

AdheerVinayak Kaul (8-C) won 6th position in 50 meters Backstroke, 3rd position in 50 meters backstroke and 2nd position in 4x50 meters Medley Relay competitions against Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union Novices Meet-2007, Inter International Schools Swimming Meet -2007 and Inter International Schools Swimming Meet-2007 respectively.

HORSE RIDING

Rabail Singh (8-E) won 1st prize in Horse Riding competition held on 6.3.2007 organized by Baba Janki Das Club, Ballo Majra

ST. XAVIER'S PANCHKULA

Haryana State Twenty Twenty Cricket Tournament against the South African Team.Ashish Sharma of class VIII selected for the Haryana under 17 team to play against South Africa.

Parv Khosia of Class IV A won the 1st position in the National Table Soccer Championship held at D.A.V. Sr.Sec.School,Sector8C,Chandigarh.

Pariksha Oberoi won Third Prize in 'On the Spot - Painting Competition' organised by Social Democratic Youth Of India.
Painting Competition based on energy Conservation organised by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government Of India. Result of the Competition :Sukriti Sachdeva (V- B) secured first position, Ram Ankit (IV- B) secured second position.
