International Christian Education
Foundation is a Registered Society under the Societies
Registration Act 1860. The Society established, owns
and administers three English-Medium, Co-Educational
institutions in the name of St. Xavier's Schools at
Chandigarh, Panchkula and S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali. It
is an organization founded by Educationists who have
had rich experience in the field of education. It
is a Society comprising completely of Christians.
The Chairman and Founder, Mr. Andrew John Gosain has
had a teaching assosiation with French and Irish Missionaries
spanning over 30 years. He had a dream to give to
the nation a constructive and vital impetus in the
field of education and nation building. After a struggle
of over two decades,through the blessings of the Almighty
and his selfless, determined commitment, today we
see a bearing of fruit in the form of three schools
mentioned below. |

St. Xavier's Sr. Sec. School, Chandigarh,
for boys and girls is a symbol of God and His Grace, an abode
of education, in the service of our Lord Jesus Christ and
humanity. This school is completely managed by the CHRISTIAN
MINORITY and is controlled by the International Christian
Education Foundation(Regd.) I.C.E.F has indeed taken a bold
step towards the proliferation of knowledge, brotherhood,
secularism and democratization. This English Medium School
is the newest addition to worldwide network of Christian Institutions.

Mr. Mervin West
Principal,St. Xavier's Chandigarh.
After a proper grooming through St. Mark's College
Jhansi and Christian College Lucknow, Mr. West took
up the challenge to teach in the Gulf(Oman) for 8
years. He joined St. Xavier's as the Vice Principal
and has recently been elevated to the post of Principal. |

Mr. George S. Shear
Principal, St. Xavier's Panchkula
After receiving a comprehensive grounding in Christian
values at Lamartiniere College for Boys and St.
Francis School Lucknow, Mr. George Shear crossed
the Arabian Sea to teach in Govt. Schools of Oman
for more than 8 years. He joined St. Xaviers Chandigarh
as a Vice Principal, was then elevated to become
the Principal of St. Xavier's Mohali. He is currently
heading St. Xavier's Panchkula.

This English medium school of boys and girls is directly governed
by the management of St. Xavier's Chandigarh. After class
VII the students can seek direct admission to Class VIII in
St. Xavier's Chandigarh.

Dr.Ms. Ivorine Castellas, Chief Administrator
St. Xavier's Schools, A Ph.D. in Political Science from Punjab University Chandigarh is the first Anglo-Indian to achieve a Ph.D. in Northern India. She is the Chief Administrator of the four schools of St. Xavier's in the tricity of Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali. She has excelled in computers and Intel, the Multinational computer giant, has awarded her the First Prize in Master Trainers.

Chrysanthemum Shows

Ms. Cynthia Shear, Administrator, Panchkula,
has been repeatedly excelling in Floriculture at the
state level in Chandigarh and Harayana State. Due to her stupendous efforts, she has
won many prizes in floriculture for St. Xavier's.

Commitment To The Nation
A Draft Of Rs. 2,50,000 was presented to the General Officer, Commanding-In-Chief, Western Command, towards the welfare of famlies of the deceased and injured soilders'. This amount was a contribution from the Students, Staf and the Institutions.
Similar amounts were given towards natural calamities like Earth Quakes and Drought. Over the years, St. Xavier's Schools have been consistently commiting themselves to humanitarian causes, which includes the Prime Minister's Relief Fund, and the same has been achknowledged by the Govt. of India. Every Year the St. Xavier's Schools have been spending lakhs of Rupees in providing education to the poor, the needy and the disadvantaged students. |
